Konga is set to launch Africa’s first AI-powered FM radio station in Lagos this January. 

Konga, one of Nigeria’s largest online shopping platforms, is set to debut Africa’s first AI-powered FM radio station this January,2025.

The e-commerce platform which launched in July, 2012, offers a wide range of products such as electronics, mobile phones, computers, fashion, appliances and so much more.

This new innovative venture by Konga will bring to life a blend of technology, entertainment and commerce in order to create impactful connections across Nigeria and beyond.

This was confirmed in a statement by Konga’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in a statement, “the station aims to blend technology, entertainment and commerce, providing brands a platform for real-time engagement with new markets”. 

According to various sources and industry experts, they believe the innovative venture is expected to transform Nigeria’s media landscape and influence the foreign exchange market.

FM Station Debut 

Konga is preparing to introduce its first AI-enhanced FM radio station in January, 2025.

The radio station will have a blend of technology, entertainment, and commerce in order to create impactful connections across Nigeria and beyond.

Konga FM aims to provide a platform for brands, distributions and original equipment manufacturers to connect with emerging markets while also enjoying a steady continuous flow of popular music and market opportunities.

The AI- powered radio station will feature cutting-edge media technology and will be staffed by a vibrant mix of experienced professionals and emerging talents.
