Zambia leaves key women players out of squad as U.S. clubs fear visa re-entry complications could affect their return.

Zambia leaves key women players out of the national squad due to concerns raised by U.S.-based clubs over re-entry complications.

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) confirmed that star players such as Barbra Banda and Racheal Kundananji have been excluded from upcoming international matches because of fears they might be denied re-entry into the United States.

Prior to their friendly matches the Zambian national team has chosen to exclude several important women players from their roster.

Football Association of Zambia accepted this decision after consulting with the U.S. clubs that managed their players who showed concerns about international travel.

The tightening of US visa regulations by immigration authorities causes clubs to fear their players’ travel abroad may result in visa denial and prevent them from playing for the club again.

Despite recognizing the importance of top talent in its squad the FAZ emphasized that it must balance player talent with their professional team and livelihood commitments abroad.

Barbra Banda and Racheal Kundananji serve as prominent representatives of Zambian football despite their central roles with their U.S. club teams while Zambia depends on their international performance.

People in Zambia have multiple reactions to this decision which includes both negative and positive responses from supporters.

The analysis points out that African players face major challenges because they need to balance national team duties with their professional employment in countries that enforce strict immigration policies.

Shifts in the Zambian women’s team lineup for upcoming Olympic qualifier contests may affect their competitive outcomes since they represent an important segment of the team’s player base.

The organization has maintained dedication toward establishing long-term solutions which secure both national pride objectives along with professional responsibilities.
