JYSK enters Africa with the official launch of two new stores in Casablanca, Morocco, marking a major global milestone as the company establishes its presence in its 50th market.

The move represents the Danish retail giant’s first foray into the African continent, reflecting its commitment to becoming a truly global brand.

JYSK opened new outlets at both Viva Park and Aeria Mall thus bringing their Scandinavian home décor and furniture to Moroccan consumers.

The brand pursues three commitment points which merge cost-efficiency with excellence and creative design to satisfy inhabitants seeking modern practical living solutions in the region.

Rami Jensen as JYSK President and CEO declared Moroccan entry as a major accomplishment.

JYSK demonstrates pride in its first African retail locations where the company anticipates successful connections with Moroccan buyers.

He declared this was only the initial step as the company prepared to expand throughout the entire continent.

JYSK establishes itself in Africa at a point where retail expansion into developing markets has become critically important for strategic growth.

Through its recent launch of JYSK.ma the company now allows Moroccan customers to shop online.

The African expansion of JYSK comes shortly after the company launched its first South American market in Uruguay.
