Uganda’s investment landscape gets introduced to Malaysian government officials and business leaders through Finance Minister Matia Kasaija and Energy Minister Ruth Nankabirwa and Agriculture Minister Bright Rwamirama as part of the country’s delegation.

Uganda’s ambassador to Malaysia Betty Oyella Bigombe highlighted Malaysia as an essential trading gateway for the nation.

Through its membership in the East African Community and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa Uganda invites investors to tap into a market consisting of more than 300 million potential customers.

This event resulted from the partnership between Uganda’s High Commission and the World-One Business Federation while conforming to Uganda’s Economic and Commercial Diplomacy strategy.

This strategy seeks to make Uganda an attractive place where businesses will invest directly through foreign capital and support innovation-driven economic expansion.

Officials of Uganda stressed the country’s stable political situation together with its plentiful natural resources and energetic workforce as primary advantages in the market.

The event creates opportunities for Ugandan businesses to establish both strategic partnerships and export deals with other businesses.

The forum serves to demonstrate the government’s dedication to inclusive economic development together with international strategic partnerships through promoting Uganda’s investment opportunities worldwide.
