University of Johannesburg launches Centre for Advanced Learning Technologies, marking a significant step in modernizing education.


The center will use artificial intelligence together with virtual reality and augmented reality to combine sophisticated technologies into the learning system.


This initiative functions to implement creative educational practices through utilizing the latest digital instruments while increasing student classroom involvement.

AI analytics at the center function to deliver customized teaching approaches which give immediate performance assessments to teachers and students alike.

The proposed development at the center includes creating virtual labs alongside simulations which will enable students to achieve practical skills through virtual immersive training.

This method aims to eliminate differences between abstract theoretical subjects and practical system implementation.


The University of Johannesburg demonstrates its staff training commitment by adopting progressive learning technologies which prepares students for tomorrow’s employment requirements.

The university secures its position as the leading educational innovator in Africa by funding these programs.
