In an open interview with Rolling Stone, pop star talked about the irony of viral moments. Her ballads are not what fans post on the Internet, but her sexy Juno dance steps.

She admits that she becomes famous thanks to those clips but her artistry is pushed to the background.

This trend of sexualized videos makes the job of Sabrina Carpenter less enjoyable.

The 26-year-old stressed that women are under pressure as they have never been before.

She spoke of her upcoming album, Man Best Friend, and its provocative cover – features her on all fours with hair held by a man in a suit. Some call it degrading, others think of it as satirical.

Carpenter has not addressed the backlash directly. But Sabrina Carpenter Says it Hurts to be judged all the time.

She said: this pressure is not a criticism only. It “taints” relationships, work, even joy.
