The Galaxy AI of Samsung may stay free, even though it was previously predicted that the features would become paid in the year 2026.

According to tipster @PandaFlash Pro on X, the inbuilt AI suite will remain free of charge indefinitely

Samsung announced that Galaxy AI would be free until the end of 2025 when it was launched in 2024. That raised the alarm among users of a potential paywall.
The tip though, indicates that Samsung might not intend to charge after that date .

Galaxy AI offers such tools as smart photo editing, live translation, and writing assist, which are yet to be charged.
Remarkably, this does not include the paid Gemini Advanced AI functions of Google, which are not integrated.

Although Samsung has not confirmed this rumor, most people are hoping that the free access will be permanent.
An announcement to that effect would be a big victory to those users who use AI augmentations but are not subscribers.

As AI subscriptions are picking up, the move by Samsung might become the new trend in mobile technology. Are we going to have permanent AI bonus- or subscription later? The solution is in the next official word of Samsung.
